The Ottawa Sun - If your car is burning oil or guzzling gas, a few treatments of RVS Technology are what you might need. This unique method of restoring worn engines is finally available in Canada.
You can now delay the expense of buying a new car by renewing your tired old engine with a few RVS treatments. Depending on the car, the benefits of RVS technology are less oil consumption, improved emissions, and increase in fuel economy, and considerable improvements in performance.
How does it work? RVS binds to metal surfaces and blends into the worn areas restoring them and preventing further wear.
"The sealing on the cylinders creates better compression and restores power, fuel efficiency and reduces engine vibrations," said George Castiglia, licensed automotive technician and owner of Precision Auto Tech.
RVS is not an oil additive but a unique technology of restoration and rejuvenation of engines, transmissions, differentials, and any metal parts that come in contact with other metal parts resulting in friction. RVS doesn't interact with oil and doesn't change its properties. It stays in the engine for up to 100,000 kms.
Castiglia tested the product on a 1988 Dodge Caravan with 181,212 kms. The car was smoking so badly they couldn't even start the emission test. After the RVS treatment, the car passed the emission test and after 10,000 kms continues to be smoke-free, said Castiglia.
"There is definitely a marked improvement after the treatment", said Castiglia. "As far as after-market add-ons and additives, I don't sell what I don't believe in. So we tried RVS before we started promoting it, to make sure that it's not just a hear-say thing. There is nothing similar in North America that I am aware of."
RVS treatment is wearproof for the inner body of your car, the way rustproof is for the outer body, and prevent an engine replacement which can cost from $2,000 to $4,000, while two RVS treatments cost about $120 and up.
