The flash movie does a good job explaining the theory behind RVS. You might be left wondering if RVS works just like that in reality. It sure does, and below you can find a video showing the surface structure of the cylinder walls of an engine that has 320,000km on the odometer and has never been opened before. Notice the shiny, super-smooth surface. This is the result of RVS forming and integrating the ceramic surface onto the cylinder walls.
